We will share data and stories about the impact our program is having on creating trusted community connections with families to provide education and support on safe sleep, breastfeeding and the proper use of infant products.

Terri Miller, MPH, CHES is the Safe Infant Sleep Program Manager at the Georgia Department of Public Health. She is also the Principal Investigator for the Preventing Violence Affecting Young Lives (PREVAYL) program and the SUID Case Registry.
Kiana Ayers, RN, IBCLC, LCCE, – Ready Set Push, Inc.
Kiana Ayers is the founder of Mamas and Tatas and Ready Set Push Inc., organizations dedicated to providing affordable prenatal education and lactation support to families in her community. A wife and mother of four breastfed children, she is passionate about offering evidence based childbirth and breastfeeding education, especially for low income families.

In addition to being the owner of Best Birthing Services, TE El is an author, advocate, and podcast host. The birth of her first granddaughter led her to becoming a Certified Labor Doula through CAPPA International and working with Emory Urban Health Initiative to ensure that no one’s daughter must go through labor alone.
